Arrest Made in Connection to Usher’s Stepson Kile Glover’s Jet Ski Death

According to TMZ, the jet jet ski operator who allegedly ran over Usher‘s stepson Kile Glover was arrested this morning in connection to the July 2012 accident that left Glover brain dead for weeks before he was removed from life support.

On July 6th 2012, 11-year-old Glover, one of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond‘s sons, was hospitalized following after suffering traumatic head injuries in a jet ski accident. Glover was on an inflatable raft when the jet ski collided with him.

A few weeks later on July 21st, Glover passed away after never regaining consciousness following the accident.

This morning, a man named Jeffrey Simon Hubbard was indicted by a Grand Jury  in Hall County, Georgia.

He was indicted for Homicide by Vessel, Serious Injury by Vessel, as well as Reckless Operation of a Vessel.

Hubbard is currently being held without bail and reportedly should be in front of a judge this weekend to determine whether he will receive bail or not.

French Montana Fan Shot Dead Outside Rapper’s Tour Bus in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police say that a shooting outside rapper French Montana‘s tour bus has left one person dead and another hospitalized with a bullet wound to the shoulder.

According to local news reports, the shooting happened late Thursday night (Feb 28) outside a Holiday Inn hotel following the rapper’s arrival after he had headlined a concert earlier in the evening.

Police tape surrounds French Montana’s tour bus in Philadelphia following the shooting incident.

Authorities said after a small crowd of people who had been following the rapper’s tour bus formed around the vehicle, a car pulled up and someone fired shots into the crowd.

An unarmed 27-year-old man was reportedly shot in the stomach, while a second unidentified fan was hit in the shoulder and was treated for his non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital.

Fox 29 in Philadelphia reported that there were no suspects in the shooting, but at lest 25 or more people were being questioned by police, including French Montana and members of his entourage.

Police don’t believe Montana and his crew were the targets and neither of the shooting victims appeared to have any ties to the rapper, who just shot a video with Nicki Minaj for his new single “Freaks.”

Shortly after the shooting, the rapper — who is signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy record label — tweeted an Instagram photo of an official appearing to be questioning him and a member of his crew with a caption that read: “nobody got time for this shit.”

Another Instagram pic with the caption “tour bus life” showed Montana and one of his rap buddies Meek Mill posing on the bus, obviously before the shooting incident.

The incident comes one week after aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch was gunned down on the Las Vegas strip in an shootout that left two other people dead after Clutch’s Maserati crashed into a taxi cab that immediately exploded on impact.

Mugshot Mania – Don’t Try This on Date Night…

Have you ever snuck into a 2nd movie without paying? Well next time think twice… it might get you a felony charge!

Meet Lendsey and Delilha Harbin (pictured above).

The married couple thought it was a great idea to spend their weekly date night at the movies.  But what started as a romantic outing, ended as a trip to the clink after the pair decided to watched two movies instead of the one they paid for.

Coincidentally… if THIS is a felony I think every movie-goer in America is headed to jail soon.

jeffrey hubbard
Jeffrey Simon Hubbard,  the jet ski operator who allegedly collided with Tameka Raymond & Ryan Glover‘s son, Kile at Lake Lanier last summer was arrested this morning.

Tameka and Ryan both actively lobbied with the Georgia Senate committee where she spoke and offered first hand information about the lack of boating safety on Lake Lanier.

After a legislation on boating safety was passed earlier this week, the District Attorney in Hall County, Georgia decided to move forward with prosecuting the man responsible for the accident that killed young Kile Glover.

For the record, other outlets are reporting the story as if Usher has something to do with it… and clearly he doesn’t.  But I digress.

Video: Internet Scamming in West Africa

Fraudsters in West Africa show us how they use internet scams to steal thousands of dollars from unsuspecting victims all over the globe. While Nigeria’s 401 scammers may have written the book on West African internet fraud, their shtick looks like Compuserve compared to what’s going on in Ghana. Unsatisfied with the meager winnings from emailing thousands of random Westerners in hopes of convincing one poor sap they’re the treasurer of the Ivory Coast, Ghana’s scammers decided to stack the odds in their favor the old-fashioned way—witchcraft.

Taking a page from cyberpunk, traditional West African Juju priests adapted their services to the needs of the information age and started leading down-on-their-luck internet scammers through strange and costly rituals designed to increase their powers of persuasion and make their emails irresistible to greedy Americans. And so “Sakawa” was born.

Always interesting to see what is going on around the world. Vice looks at ,”Sakawa,” and internet scamming in Ghana.

Joey Bada$$ Was Still A Better Rapper Than You When He Was 15

Bada$$

I think it’s cool to hear early material from established rappers. And as old as it makes me feel, this is even true for the 18 year old Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$. It’s still early in his career but Joey has been putting in work for a few years now. Check out “20 Miles”, a song Joey (JayOHVee?) made when he was 15 for a mixtape that we’ll probably never hear. Over Mos Def’s “Umi Says”. Not bad youngster.
